WHAT IS DEERWOOD?
DEERWOOD is a point-&-click horror game inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's and I'm On Observation Duty developed by Bonzee & Co.
The gameplay features both task-based (complete a task to progress) and
time-based (survive until 6 AM to progress) segments. The game is being developed in Clickteam Fusion 2.5+ and rendered in Blender Cycles.
(We're also using Freesound.org for the base sounds!)
STORY
A small diner in the woods is rumored to be "haunted" after the recent passing of its owner. Your name is Jamie, you're a paranormal journalist looking to write articles about haunted locations. DEERWOOD happened to be right up your alley.
It's certainly not the first time you've heard about a haunted children's restaurant, people love ghost stories. With your new night guard position, gathering evidence should be a piece of cake! You have one week, so don't screw it up.
FEATURES
Unlike in my previous project, NIGHTSTARS, this game will include Five Nights.
An additional Hard Mode, where even the smallest mistake can put an end to your night.
A set of small Side Quests for those who are looking to revisit the game more than once.
Collectibles to decorate your office shelf with, unlockable through the side quests!
Cutscenes telling the short yet mysterious story behind DEERWOOD.
An Extras menu filled with Behind the Scenes content.

for beating the NIGHTSTARS Hard Mode! As I promised on his stream, here's a look at the main menu from DEERWOOD!
I'm planning to stay mostly silent on DEERWOOD, at least until we get to beta testing. We've got a lot of progress done, but there's also a lot to do still!
I'll try to post little things from time to time though :)
